DESCRIPTION:The community choir continues with a new challenge. After last year’s debut\, when more than 300 people from Timișoara\, united by their common passion for music\, got on the same stage in front of more than 2\,500 spectators and gave voice to one part of Ludwig Van Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony (Ode to joy – the anthem of the European Union)\, this year\, on September 6 and 7\, they will hold a new concert in which they will perform Carl Orff’s famous work – Carmina Burana\, one of the most popular creations of all time. The community choir will sing together with the “Remus Georgescu” Symphony Orchestra and the “Ion Românu” Choir of The Banatul Philharmonic and the Equal Voices Choir of the “Ion Vidu” Timișoara Art High School\, under the direction of maestro GABRIEL BEBEŞELEA. Soloists: soprano Aleksandra Jovanović\, countertenor Valer Sabadus and baritone Levente Molnár. Choir conductors: Maria Gyuris (Equal Voices Choir of the “Ion Vidu” Art High School Timișoara)\, Iosif Todea (“Ion Românu” Choir of the Banatul Philharmonic)\, Codruța Niculescu\, Lucia Manga-Gligor\, Carol Budai and Lucian Onita (Community Choir).
