ACCADEMIA MUSICA RICERCATA | Musicological Research Workshop on Manuscripts with Gabriel Bebeșelea

Filarmonica Banatul Timișoara invites the public to a musicological research workshop dedicated to the manuscripts of Giuseppe Verdi, led by conductor Gabriel Bebeșelea, recognized for his artistic work and his keen interest in the in-depth study of musical sources.
The event, organized as part of Accademia Musica Ricercata | DiVerdi, offers participants the opportunity to explore the world of Verdi’s creative output from a documentary and interpretive perspective. The workshop proposes a journey into original manuscripts, highlighting lesser-known details of the operas, as well as aspects related to historical performance practices.
Topics such as the use of the 432 Hz tuning standard and its impact on sonic authenticity will also be addressed, offering a valuable perspective on how Verdi’s music can be understood and performed today.
