The work remained unfinished and without an indicated instrumentation\, inspiring over time numerous versions and interpretations. Erich Bergel’s transcription – Bergel\, a conductor and composer of Transylvanian origin\, praised for his clear and spiritual vision of Bach’s music – brings these pages into the symphonic realm\, preserving the rigor of counterpoint while enriching it with a bright and balanced orchestral palette.

DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, November 23\, 2025\, at 7:00 PM – Capitol Hall“The performer\, despite his unbearable arrogance\, is completely useless — unless his performance makes the music intelligible to a public unfortunate enough not to be able to read a score.” — Arnold Schoenberg \nInspired by the words of one of the most influential composers of the 20th century\, “Manifesto” is a performance advocating for the freedom of the performer. The show tells the story of a musician whose creativity has been amputated and replaced by mere virtuosity\, turning them into a kind of athlete focused solely on speed and precision\, killing creativity through repetition.  \nThe performance includes theatrical moments and elements drawn from contemporary dance. Throughout the show\, the audience will also become performers\, guided by the three musicians on stage.  \nAt the end of the performance\, spectators will receive a newspaper providing the social\, political\, and cultural context of each work\, as well as the reasons behind its inclusion in the repertoire. DESCRIPTION:On Thursday\, August 29\, 2024\, from 19:00\, at the Capitol Hall\, an exceptional event will bring together classical music lovers in a brilliant concert\, performed by the artists of The Banatul Philharmonic Brass Ensemble\, under the direction of Dominique Bodart. The concert will open with the magnificence of the “Trumpet Sextet” signed by O. Böhme. The magic of sound will continue with the splendid “Italian Capriccio” by P. I. Tchaikovsky. Then\, the audience will be taken through the sound universe of the work “A Requiem in Our Time” by E. Rautavaara. The evening program continues with an impressive and sensitive work – “Ave Maria” by G. Caccini. Finally\, we enjoy hearing the “Firebird Suite” by I. Stravinsky.
