On April 4, 2026, starting at 7:00 PM, at the Senate Hall of UPT in the Lloyd Palace, we invite you to an event that blends science and art into a fascinating sonic experience. The evening brings together conductor Gabriel Bebeșelea and Prof. Dr. Phys. Habil. Adrian Palcu, in a lively dialogue about the profound connection between the laws of physics and artistic expression.
Through clear explanations and musical demonstrations, the audience will discover what the tuning fork means, how tuning works, and how the reference frequency influences the perception of sound.
Afterwards, we let ourselves be enveloped by music written by great masters of Italian lyricism: Luigi Cherubini, Gioachino Rossini, Gaetano Donizetti, Giuseppe Verdi, and Giacomo Puccini.
A journey behind the scenes of sound, where science explains emotion, and music transforms theory into lived experience.
The event is part of the Musica Ricercata | DiVERDI Project.
