Concert coral – Medalion OLA GJEILO – Corul „Ion Românu” | Dirijor: IOSIF TODEA

The „Ion Românu” Choir of the Banatul Philharmonic Timișoara, under the direction of maestro IOSIF TODEA, will perform a choral concert in the Roman Catholic Cathedral in Piața Unirii, Timișoara. They will be joined by REGINA CSERMAK – piano, CĂTĂLINA TRINCĂ – violin, ANGELA GHERASIM – violin, IULIANA AMBĂRUț – viola, DARIUS TEREU – cello and IOAN VASILE TURC – oboe.

Religious hymns such as Ubi Caritas, Ave generosa, Northern Lights, Lux beata Trinitas will be heard under the dome of the Cathedral. In the tradition of the Catholic Church, Ubi caritas, the text of which is attributed to the theologian and poet Paulinus of Aquileia in 796, is sung on Maundy Thursday.
