Festivalul Internațional „Timișoara Muzicală”, ediția a XLVIII-a | Concert vocal-simfonic – Orchestra simfonică „Remus Georgescu” și Corul „Ion Românu” ale Filarmonicii Banatul | Dirijor: RADU POPA

Filarmonica Banatul Timișoara vă invită la unul dintre evenimentele-emblemă ale orașului: Festivalul Timișoara Muzicală. Primul eveniment al Filarmonicii din cadrul ediției a XLVIII-a este concertul vocal-simfonic susținut de Orchestra simfonică și avându-l la pupitrul dirijoral pe maestrul Radu Popa, împreună cu Corul „Ion Românu”, dirijat de maestrul IOSIF TODEA. Pe scenă se vor afla soliștii DANIEL CIOBANU – pian, LUIZA FATYOL – soprană, OVIDIU PURCEL – tenor, MIHAI DAMIAN – bariton.

Cu câteva zile înainte ca ortodocșii să celebreze Paștele, programul evenimentului îi introduce pe melomani în spiritul sărbătorilor pascale prin oratoriul „Iisus pe Muntele Măslinilor”, singurul oratoriu compus de Ludwig van Beethoven. Lucrarea evidențiază latura umană a lui Iisus mai mult decât cea divină și a fost creată într-o perioadă în care Beethoven începuse să-și piardă auzul; este un simbol al forței creatoare a omului în pofida încercărilor la care este supus.

În programul serii de 2 mai a fost inclus și Concertul pentru pian și orchestră nr. 4 în sol major, op. 58, compus de același magnific Ludwig van Beethoven.

The Banatul Philharmonic invites you to one of the emblematic events of the city: the „Timișoara Muzicală” International Festival. The first event of the Philharmonic within the XLVIII edition is the vocal-symphonic concert supported by the Symphony Orchestra and with maestro Radu Popa, together with the „Ion Românu” Choir, conducted by maestro Iosif Todea. The soloists DANIEL CIOBANU – piano, LUIZA FATYOL – soprano, OVIDIU PURCEL – tenor, MIHAI DAMIAN – bass will be on stage.
A few days before the Orthodox celebrate Easter, the program of the event introduces music lovers to the spirit of the Easter holidays through the oratorio „Jesus on the Mount of Olives”, the only oratorio composed by Ludwig van Beethoven. The work highlights the human side of Jesus more than the divine, and was created at a time when Beethoven was beginning to lose his hearing; it is a symbol of man’s creative force despite the trials to which he is subjected.
The program of the evening of May 2 also included the Concert for piano and orchestra no. 4 in G major, Op. 58, composed by the same magnificent Ludwig van Beethoven.
